Open Space film

First met Mike Basich in 1996 - called me to talk about a crazy binding idea. Very interesting guy. Loved his part in "91 Words for Snow" from a few years back and this little documentary on him is pretty rad.

Must be something about ex-pro-snowboarders - my friends Greg Race and Leif Treinen have tread a similar path - building beautiful furniture that is as much art as furniture and have an amazing house they too built themselves off the grid in the mountains above Leadville. I'll have to scan some old pics if I can find them.
